12 Foundation Stones | The Word of God
Tour The Basic Video 2: The Word of God

Below is the text version of the video titled "Tour the Basics Video 2: The Word of God ". In addition to the text version you can view the video. This video, taught by Teacher Maria vonAnderseck, continues the study to establish the importance of the 12 Elements of the Gospel, which are the 12 Foundation Stones of the faith.

The purpose of this lesson is to further your understanding of the foundation of your faith. In the first lesson and video you learned that God’s DNA is the instructions encoded into each of the 12 elements of the gospel that tells your faith how to function.

[Reminder: Remember that the 12 Foundation Stones are the 12 Elements of the Gospel. Each Elements is a stone set in the foundation of the faith. The 12 Elements of the Gospel are the foundation and altar of the faith.]

Remember what the 12 elements of the gospel are:
  1. GRACE
  2. FAITH
  3. RIGHTEOUSNESS
  4. JUSTIFICATION
  5. SANCTIFICATION
  6. HOLINESS
  7. PEACE
  8. REST
  9. CHARITY
  10. TRUTH
  11. REGENERATION
  12. THE RENEWING OF THE MIND

You became familiar with the words:
  • Blueprint (1 Chronicles 28:11-19)
  • Pattern (Hebrews 8:5)
  • Foundation (1 Corinthians 3:10)

You learned that God applies these words to the 12 Elements of the Gospel to teach us how to make Jesus the pattern of our faith. You learned that:
  1. God uses knowledge to create the likeness of Christ in you.
  2. The 12 elements of the gospel are God’s blueprint of life in Christ.
  3. The life of Christ is formed inside the womb of the New or Second Covenant.
Now you know why
KNOWLEDGE = FUNCTION ………… and
KNOWLEDGE = LIKENESS

When Christians say, "I don't know how to walk in righteousness and holiness. I live in defeat!" what they are actually saying is, "I don't know how my faith functions.
I do not possess the likeness of Christ."

God Wants You to Identify Jesus Christ

God designed the 12 Elements of the Gospel [12 Foundation Stones ] for you to identify Jesus Christ and for God to identify Jesus Christ in you.

In this video I will explain further what it means to “identify” Jesus Christ and how we do that. To begin with, we are going to talk about why Jesus is called the Word of God.

Jesus called Himself “THE WORD OF GOD” to manifest Himself as our CREATOR and to manifest Himself as our SALVATION. We are first going to look at what it means when we say that Jesus manifested Himself as our CREATOR.

The Word of God, our Creator

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. . .by His WORD.
He said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Everything that God created both visible and invisible, He created by His Word. As the Lord testified in the gospel of John saying: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were created by Him--by the Word of God, and without Him was not anything created that was created.

In Him was life. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth.”

Of course, this passage of scripture is referring to Jesus Christ. God identifies Jesus as the “WORD of God” to teach us that He speaks to humanity by all things He created.

We are talking here about the fingerprint of the God-Code. Whether visible or invisible, God placed His testimony in everything He created: in the universe, in the earth, in nature, in the human body, and in the soul itself. God placed a portion of Himself in everything so we could see Him. When we talk about the God-Code which God has placed in everything He created, we are talking about the perfection of His creation and how each creature fulfill its purpose according to how God willed it.

Do you ever wonder why you are drawn to the breathtaking vastness and splendor of the universe? It is because God set a portion of Himself there for you to see Him. Looking up into the night sky we feel drawn to the wonders spread out as a blanket before us. We can’t help but ponder about the God who created such magnificent sights!

We are drawn to nature’s splendor in the same way because God set a portion of Himself there for us to see Him. He speaks to humanity by all things He created saying, I exist. I am your Creator. We see God’s majesty in the mountains, His order in each eco system, His power in wind and storm, lightning and thunder. The beauty and diversity He bestowed upon golden fields of grain, upon bountiful orchards rich in fruit, and upon vineyards from which flow rivers of wine, makes us stand in awe of Him.

From the tulip fields of Holland, splashed with red, yellow, purple, and pink, to the exotically plumed birds of the Amazon, and the fascinating world of tropical fish, God dazzles our senses with color. From the graceful song of the morning bird, to the gentle sound of the brook, to the voice of music that flows from flute and violin alike, God dazzles our senses with sound. How amazing God is!

Paul affirmed this by writing, “For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse” (Rom.1:20).

Paul preached in Lystra saying, “[God] left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.”

From these passages of scripture we can understand that none can say, “I did not know there was a God.” For God manifested Himself in all the glory of His creation. The Psalmist wrote, “He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is gracious and full of compassion” (Ps.111:4).

God gave every culture a language to testify of the splendor of His works; and even if they refuse to attribute it to Him, His testimony still stands. So it is that when an atheist looks at the wonders of the universe or the complexity of the human body and calls it “beautiful,” it is God who draws that testimony from him.

The Trace of Your Finger

With every gaze and every thought upon God’s creation, you are tracing, with your finger, the letters of His name, for God assigned a letter to everything He created.
Letters make words, and words make sentences. God is speaking to you of Himself.

God is saying, “I am the pattern . . . or recipe . . . of all life. . .I am Life. . . All things exist and live because they are tethered to Me.”

And so we are able to identify our Creator by just looking around us. God left a testimony in everything He created as a memorial to Himself.

However wonderful this is, the soul cannot be saved by this knowledge, or experience the life of Christ by this pattern. The Word had to take the form of flesh, called Jesus Christ to speak to us of our redemption, and by this new knowledge, provide Himself as the door to God’s kingdom.

The Word made flesh, Jesus Christ, shed His blood to provide in Himself a New Covenant, a new language for man to hear His voice, and a new priesthood for our communion with Him.

The Word of God our Salvation

God now speaks to us through Jesus Christ saying, “I am your Savior.” And, instead of placing a letter upon everything He created, God placed in Jesus the 12 Elements of the Gospel that we may not only identify Him, but walk in all the things He provided by the cross.

Simply put, Jesus Christ is called the WORD of God. God is now speaking to us by the knowledge of our salvation, teaching us how to function in His kingdom.

So now, instead of tracing your finger over all creation to see God, you can trace your finger over each Element of the Gospel to see Jesus Christ. God left a testimony in Jesus Christ for our faith. He created as a memorial to Himself in His knowledge.

God took on our likeness to communicate to us about our redemption, and then set a pattern of likeness in us (this foundation knowledge) whereby we may communicate to Him the same likeness of Christ.

A Tradition of Likeness Through Knowledge

God’s plan is that we carry on a tradition of likeness through knowledge. You might not be used to thinking about “knowledge” as necessary for faith. You might have been taught that all you had to do to be saved was to believe in Jesus. The problem with that teaching is that a solid foundation of knowledge is not placed in you and you don’t know how your faith is supposed to function.

Let’s bring this home to you now. What would God say to you to help you better understand the importance of His knowledge? He would say:

God would say, “Your soul used to be in bondage to Satan, but now, by My Word, I free you.” How does that happen? It happens when you learn how your faith functions with each of the 12 Elements.

God would say, “Your soul used to live by every word of darkness, but now you live by My Word, which represents the truth in My Son. How does that happen? It happens when you learn how your faith functions with each of the 12 Elements in truth.

God would say, “Your soul used to be empty, but now I am filling every cavern of your soul with My virtues.” How does that happen? It happens when you learn how your faith functions with each of the 12 Elements and you experience the work within your soul.

God would say, “Your mind used to be controlled by doubt and fear, but now My grace, peace, and truth govern your mind.” How does that happen? It happens when you learn how your faith functions with each of the 12 Elements.

By now you are beginning to see the importance of the knowledge of Christ and why Jesus Christ identified Himself as our hope. God wants us to have His mind. And God’s mind is revealed in Christ.

When we say that God’s mind is revealed in Christ we are pointing again to the 12 Elements of the Gospel. This is God’s mind in Christ.

It is easy to understand how God speaks to us through the Elements of the Gospel and how we carry the likeness of Christ through knowledge.

Spiritual DNA

Let’s go back and draw some additional analogies between natural DNA and spiritual DNA.

DNA is life’s instructions. There are 4 characters in the DNA alphabet. The DNA strand is made up of letters. The letters make words, and the words make sentences. These "sentences" are called genes. This is how your body receives instructions about function, growth, reproduction, and all the processes necessary for living.

Spiritually speaking THE ELEMENTS are God’s life instructions to you.

There are12 ELEMENTS in God’s SPIRITUAL DNA ALPHABET.
The Likeness of Christ is made up of THESE LETTERS.
The LETTERS make WORDS and the
WORDS make SENTANCES

The “sentences” are called the mystery of Christ in you, the hope of glory. This is how we “identify” Jesus Christ and this is how your faith receives instructions about functions, spiritual growth, spiritual reproduction (the increase of the fruit of Christ in you), and all processes necessary for the living reality of Christ in you.
