Second 8^th Week Ministries is a coalition of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers who are called of God to minister His Word of grace to those who are seeking the true unity of the Body of Christ and true fivefold ministry.

 

We believe that the true fivefold ministry is restored when truth is restored. The original fivefold ministry Jesus inaugurated to oversee His church in His name had one distinguishing mark, each apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher embraced the same one doctrine, one faith, one baptism, and one belief system in Jesus Christ. That is not the reality of those claiming fivefold authority today, but it is true for the coalition of the Second 8^th Week. This is a wonder and miracle that confirms that God has at last visited His church. The church is now experiencing the unity of the faith.

 

We are an apostolic ministry. We are the Apostles Today Network of the Second 8^th Week, the voice of God’s trumpet, calling the church to assemble in His name under the banner of His truth. We believe that to be the Lord’s messenger, a ministry must have the Lord’s message to give to the people, as the Lord shows us in Haggai 1:13, “Then spake Haggai the Lord’s messenger in the Lord’s message unto the people.”

 

We believe that a person cannot claim the apostolic ministry if he or she has not restored to the church the one true faith of Jesus Christ.

 

We believe that the Lord has restored true Body ministry. As you will witness on this site, s8w elders minister according to the measure of grace given to them, and the Body in turn ministers to one another according to the measure of grace given to each. Rather than each draw from their own well, each draws from the same living waters that proceed from the throne of God.

 

We do not believe that God has called the Body to argue doctrine, but to believe the record of Christ and to stand in the grace of God and with one mind and one mouth proclaim His truth to build up by edification, the living stones of His house. This unity is most remarkably seen in the restoration of the Christian priesthood where charity is the glue that bonds us to each other and to Christ.

 

We, the elders of Second 8^th Week Ministries, acknowledge our obligation to God to give the report of His grace, to announce the coming judgments of God upon the earth, to call sinners to repentance, to give the invitation to come into covenant with God through our Lord Jesus Christ to escape the wrath to come.

 

We, the elders of Second 8^th Week Ministries, acknowledge our obligation to God to build faith according to the one blueprint of truth that Jesus gave to His apostles. We do not believe it is God’s will to compromise the doctrine of Christ by adding to it the aspiration of man. Therefore we believe that God has called His government to establish the saints in truth, to equip them with the 9 spiritual tools of Christ, to teach them the ABCs of the covenant, the 12 Elements of the Gospel, and the cleanse believers in truth to prepare them to function in their Christian priesthood.

 

We are answering the call to equip the Body in truth. If you do not know the ABCs of the Second Covenant we invite you to take the Tour of the Basics to familiarize yourself with them and then study the easy-to-use lessons on this site. Each lesson is designed to place the foundation of truth in you, and teach you how to stand in your sanctification.

 

Second 8^th Week Ministries and the Apostles Today Network of the Second 8^th Week were founded by Chief Apostle Eric vonAnderseck and his wife Maria. Our goal at Second 8^th Week Ministries is to serve God and to serve you by providing everything God has bestowed upon this ministry as gifts to adorn your faith.
