We all know the fundamentals about God, they are the facts about Jesus Christ that are true: He is the Son of God, He was born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross, shedding His blood for the sins of the world, and He rose again from the dead. Salvation is given to all those who believe. This is the fundamental doctrine of Christ.

What we also need to understand is the foundation knowledge because while these facts are true, they do not give direction for faith. We could take these facts and build any number of gospels. Christians can understand the fundamental doctrine of Jesus Christ, but not the foundation doctrine. This is why Christians argue about the value of grace, faith, righteousness, baptism, tongues, sanctification, holiness, the law of grace and truth, and the works of the covenant.

These are the foundation doctrines of our faith. These give direction for faith and we need to understand these in full. The Spirit of God does not enter into our imagination about Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit enters into the holy knowledge of His covenant to create a living relationship with God through the tools of the covenant that represent Christ.

Bread Crumbs of Truth Cannot Fill the Heart With Faith

Is it possible to serve God with partial truth, partial ignorance? We cannot serve God with only bread crumbs of truth, this is why the church is starving today. Bread crumb truth does not fill our heart with faith. God gave us His truth to raise us up to His level where we can serve Him with perfect faith. Did you know that when your faith is filled only on bread crumbs of truth that your will becomes weak? Your mind will tell you one thing and your heart will tell you another. You want to do the will of God, but can’t seem to find the strength to do it.

As a Teacher with Apostles Today Network of the Second 8th Week, I want to encourage you that it is possible for you to have strong faith in God. This site will provide you with the whole counsel of God. Even as Apostle Paul taught, that we are to consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ and His doctrine (1 Timothy 6:3). I would like to invite you to come to the table of the Lord and partake of His Holy knowledge.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 says, “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”
