Because of Adam’s yielding to Satan’s council in the Garden of Eden, man was separated from God and now all of mankind carries God’s mark of condemnation upon their souls.

For that reason God sent Christ, who died on the cross to buy the terms and conditions of the New Covenant to remove God’s mark of condemnation upon the soul,   to deliver us from the wrath of God’s for mankind, to remove the hostility because of sin between man and God and reconcile us with Him. By His death and resurrection Christ established the new Law of Grace and Truth within Himself, by which man was delivered from the burdensome yoke of the Law of Sin and Death, which focus was the sinful nature of man.

 John 14:6 “Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me”.

 Apart from the tools and the knowledge of the 2nd Covenant, there is no returning of the soul back to God, for anything man resource outside the restrictions of the covenant of Christ is inspired by Satan to keep ignorant believers on a never-ending journey, looking for ways to come into right standing with God. There is however no standard man can raise in his flesh to bring himself into right standing with God for it is only Christ that God is pleased with and only when we touch the things of His covenant upon which the blood of Christ is sprinkled, God is pleased with our faith.

Luke 9:35 “Behold this is My Beloved Son in whom I’m well pleased”

 Having said that, we need to understand that we cannot touch and please God by doing the good works of the flesh, no matter how sincere we are to please God.  Grace is the very essence of God’s being and all the tools of the covenant embody His grace so that we can partake of Him. It is only by the things of God’s covenant that the soul can truly experience healing, cleansing and separation from the effects of sin and iniquity upon the soul and that we stand upright and righteous before God because this is what He provided and sanctified for being perfect and blameless in faith and for bearing perfect fruit unto Him. 

 Being in covenant with God, we learn by the foundation of truth laid in our soul by a living apostle, how to discern the things that tethers us to God’s kingdom and the things that tethers us to Satan’s kingdom. It is the tools and the knowledge of the covenant that the Spirit use to circumcise the soul from the perspective which originate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, shaped and molded by Satan to stand against the righteousness of Christ, to defile the conscience of man and to bring spoilage to faith.

 Deuteronomy 30:19 "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing, therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live"

 Laboring with the tools and knowledge of God’s covenant clothes our souls with the glorious garments of the Light of Christ therefore we experience comfort, edification, peace and strength for faith in our yielding to His grace.  Because we now follow the new Law of Grace and Truth in Christ, Satan cannot condemn us any more, because we no longer struggle with sin; continually repenting and praying for a closer walk with God as an expression of faith; but we are now faithful laborers, building the House of the Lord and bring unto Him a worthy offering He delights in: Christ.

Hebrews 4:14 “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy.”

As a Pastor with Apostles Today Network of the Second 8^th Week, I am here to assist you to understand our need for the tools and the knowledge of the Covenant of Christ which God sanctified for faith to be pleasing unto Him. Because of the death and resurrection of Christ, God not only made perfect faith necessary, but possible through the works of His covenant.
