God's Divine Order for His Spiritual Government in the Church of Christ
"At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me. And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks." (Acts 26:13-14)
The struggle for many today has to do with understanding spiritual government. In the False Religious System there are many who claim a calling, but they are not part of the machinery of God’s kingdom.
Just this morning I was reflecting on the miracle of God’s spiritual government. How His love for us is expressed in His government which receives revelation and breaks the truth open for understanding. While I was reflecting God gave me the following spiritual sacrifice which I shared with Teacher Maria over skype.
“The love of God is reflected in His provision of government to break open His Truth to the world.”
In turn, Teacher Maria responded with this sacrifice”
“The truth of God breaks down the walls of Satan's kingdom to open the way for the prisoners to be set free.”
As I read that sacrifice I had a quick vision of prisoners crawling out of a dark dungeon through a collapsed part of a stone wall into the bright light of the sun... the rays of the sun were coming through the opening drawing the prisoners to it. As they were approaching the opening from the dark dungeon they were shielding their eyes from the brightness of the sun, but as they passed though the opening their eyes had adjusted and they dropped their arms for they could see clearly now that they were in the light.
The opening verses refer to the Apostle Paul giving testimony to King Agrippa. How while on the road He and his accompaniment were struck to the ground by a light brighter than the sun from which the voice of the Lord came forth. After Identifying Himself, the Lord said to Paul;
“But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” (Acts 26:16-18)
I doubt that there is a professing Christian out there who could not share this information if asked, how was the Apostle Paul converted? My question, however, is… How can an individual believe this event occurred and not believe that God has specifically called living apostles today to “open the eyes” of the church of Christ and “turn them from the darkness” it has experienced for the past 2000 years, back into His marvellous light?
Those who refuse to believe that God still has called living apostles today have fell prey to the antichrist spirit in the world believing that they can interpret scripture for themselves. This is one of the greatest deceptions Satan has accomplished in his battle to keep man from his rightful inheritance.
In Matthew 14 where Christ fed the multitudes He first broke the bread and gave it to His disciples for distribution. He did not hand the bread directly to the multitudes Himself.
"And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full." (Matthew 14:19-20)
The number five refers to government and the number two references the Holy Spirit and Truth. Combine they are the three-fold cord which tethers us to God. The breaking of the bread resembles the revelation of truth given to the apostles to impart to the multitudes.
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:” (Ephesians 4:11-13)
Chart illustrates the absolute importance of church government following the flow of God\’s grace. God distributes grace through each calling. Grace is the missing link. Again pointing to the importance of properly defining grace to learn how to operate in it.

Government is part of God’s purpose and plan. It provides direction for the church of Christ directing them to a single unity in the faith where the perfection of Christ is achieved and the saint bares the fruit of Christ.
Outside of God’s called government there is no direction. Man is left to his own perceptions and understandings. This is evidenced by the 30,000 plus man-made denominations which profess Christ. There is but one God, who has a single truth. The countless thousands of man-made denominations are the direct result of false knowledge perpetrated on and accepted by mankind by the antichrist spirit loose in the world. With generation, although adding their own twist to the lie, accepting the traditions of their fathers.
Running on aspiration there are countless thousands of “self-proclaimed” apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers and evangelists out there. Each offers their own private interpretation and perception of what they believe is truth. None of whom can provide substance for the soul.
Those who are truly called of God know they are called of God for they have experience similar callings to that of the Apostle Paul on the road. They have had dreams, visions, words of knowledge confirming their calling and like the Apostle Paul, they have sat under the stewardship of a Chief Apostle like Paul sat under the Chief Apostles Peter, James, and John prior to stepping into and accepting the responsibility of their calling.
How can you tell the difference? The “self-proclaimed” elder delivers the same old dead message wrapped up in a shiny new bow which offers no substance for the soul to feed on. It is like Jello… it taste good going down, fills the void for a brief moment but in the end leaves you starving for more.
The called, anointed, and confirmed elder of God provides true substance from above which feeds the soul, draws faith from the heart, purges the conscience, and bares the fruit of Christ. In these last days, God’s called, anointed, and confirmed government is bring the light of truth forth which, like in the above vision, is tearing down the fortress of false knowledge Satan has imprisoned the human race with.
